Description

Job Title: Tool & Die Technician / Tool Room Technician

Qualification: Diploma – Tool & Die Engineering
Experience: 1–5 Years (Freshers with hands-on training can also apply)
No. of Positions: 2–3
Location: Sonali Extrusions Private Limited

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform tool room operations including assembly, fitting, grinding, and maintenance of tools and dies.
  • Handle press tools, molds, and dies for production support.
  • Carry out die maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in new tool development and modification activities.
  • Read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Operate basic tool room machines such as lathe, milling, surface grinding, and drilling machines.
  • Support production team to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and tool inventory records.
  • Follow safety standards and quality procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Tool & Die manufacturing and maintenance.
  • Experience in Press Tool / Die Maintenance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks (for Mold/Die Designer role).
  • Good understanding of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Diploma in Tool & Die Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing / production industry preferred.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (if required).
  • Good problem-solving skills.
