Perform SMAW (Arc), GTAW (TIG), and GMAW (MIG) welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel materials.
Fabricate and weld pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, structural supports, and piping systems.
Read and understand fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and welding symbols.
Carry out root pass, filler pass, and final welding as per approved WPS.
Prepare joints by cutting, grinding, beveling, and fit-up activities before welding.
Ensure weld quality meets project specifications and inspection requirements.
Perform repairs and rectification of welding defects identified during inspection.
Coordinate with fitters, supervisors, and quality inspectors during fabrication activities.
Maintain welding machines, tools, and consumables in good condition.
Follow all safety procedures and use PPE during welding operations.
Maintain productivity while ensuring high-quality workmanship
Experience in ASME Pressure Vessel fabrication.
Knowledge of WPS, PQR, and Welder Qualification requirements.
Familiarity with hydro test and inspection requirements.
Ability to handle fabrication jobs independently.
