Operate hand grinders and angle grinders safely and efficiently.
Perform weld grinding, dressing, and surface finishing as per quality requirements.
Prepare plate and pipe edges for fit-up and welding operations.
Remove welding spatters, burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects.
Carry out grinding of root, cap, and repaired weld areas as instructed.
Assist fitters and welders during fabrication activities.
Ensure proper surface preparation before painting and inspection.
Handle fabrication materials carefully to avoid damage.
Maintain grinding tools, discs, and equipment in good working condition.
Keep the work area clean and follow housekeeping standards.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE during grinding operations.
