Description

Calibration Technician – Mechanical & Thermal

Job Summary:

Responsible for calibrating and testing mechanical and thermal measuring instruments to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate instruments such as pressure gauges, weighing balances, temperature sensors, ovens, furnaces, and thermometers.
  • Perform measurements using standard reference equipment.
  • Follow approved calibration procedures and work instructions.
  • Record observations and prepare calibration reports.
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation as per ISO standards.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of calibration equipment.
  • Support internal/external audits and quality compliance.

  • Knowledge of mechanical & thermal measurement principles
  • Basic understanding of ISO/IEC 17025
