Description

Job Title: Calibration Technician

Job Summary:
Performs calibration and testing of instruments to ensure accuracy, following lab procedures and maintaining compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Calibration & Testing

  • Calibrate pressure gauges, weighing scales, temperature sensors, tachometers.
  • Follow standard procedures and safely use reference instruments.

2. Documentation & Reports

  • Record measurement data accurately.
  • Prepare calibration certificates and maintain records.

3. Equipment & Lab Maintenance

  • Maintain reference standards and calibration labels.
  • Monitor lab conditions (temperature, humidity).
  • Keep lab clean and organized.

4. Quality & Customer Handling

  • Ensure traceability to standards.
  • Support audits and testing.
  • Handle, tag, and coordinate customer instruments.

Instrument calibration (pressure, temperature, mass, RPM, etc.) * Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards * Use of calibration tools and master reference standards * Basic troubleshooting of instruments
