Description

Job Title: Trainee / Fresher – VMC/CNC Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking freshers to join as VMC/CNC Machine Operator Trainees. The candidate will be trained to operate CNC/VMC machines and support production activities while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in operating CNC/VMC machines under supervision
  • Learn to read basic engineering drawings and job instructions
  • Support in machine setup, tool loading, and fixture alignment
  • Monitor machine operations and report deviations
  • Perform basic measurements using Vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness and follow 5S practices
  • Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
  • Assist senior operators in achieving daily production targets
  • Maintain basic production records

Required Qualifications

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
  • Freshers or candidates with 0–1 year experience
  • Basic knowledge of machining (theory level acceptable)
  • Willingness to learn CNC/VMC operations
  • Good attitude and discipline

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Interest in machine operations and tools
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts
